For the dad who has everything, how about a large aquarium in which he can play the part of the fish? Envious passers-by could then press their noses to the glass and admire his swimming style....And if you needed a model for this type of pool, our hares led us past a beauty on this Sunday's trail. No-one was swimming, but that didn't stop us pressing our noses to the glass and admiring the automated pool cleaner.
From this point we were taken past billions of dollars' worth of real estate, through some local walkways, and on to our favourite Brook. The runners eventually made their way along the creek to Stafford, where Le W*nk had to be restrained from diverting into Maccas for a chocolate sundae.
And a good thing too - because waiting for us back at the hares' was a huge, varied and delicious feast. By popular demand, here are the recipes for two of the tasty offerings:

And now for something a bit more significant and serious than the Bledisloe Cup....Last year we missed out on bestowing our Fathers' Day Tight Jocks Award. So it was great to be able to hold the annual ceremony again! Our last Dad of the Year, Budgie, showed off the trophy before passing it on (with an added adornment) to a worthy recipient - our hare Upstanding!
and then the gorgeous Tight Jocks themselves allowed him to show just how Upstanding he is.
It's now his responsibility to guard the Tight Jocks with his life, to add some further adornment to the Family Jewels, and to make sure that the Jocks never see the inside of a washing machine. Congrats, Dad of the Year!
Finally, here are a couple of late shots from last week, featuring our Electric Duo and a little white dog:
