Virgin hares Dumbbell and Saucy Sous treated 30 of us to a beautiful sunset circuit around an area we haven't visited for a good many moons. They followed this up with an outstanding gourmet Indian main meal and some sticky date pudding - yum! It was a good reminder that Saucy Sous is a (retired) professional chef, and this is something that anyone feeling a little daunted by the meal really should bear in mind. There's no point in trying to compete, guys - just enjoy!
One point of interest on the walk was the sight of someone on a kayak clearing weeds from her dam. Brrrr....
Back at the hares' we marveled at the equipment in the home gym, and some displayed their ?prowess:
True to his name, Dumbbell has a good collection...

Miss Demeanour was among those affected by Coloured Cube envy, and took these shots:
The gathering spread out around the length of the pool and out around the firepit in the paddock:
It seems hardly any time since we were celebrating Charcoal's 70th birthday, and incredible that that occasion was 10 years ago! Since then a number of us have joined the ranks of the septuagenarians...but we really don't look any older...do we? Anyway, it was great to sing "Happy Birthday" to an eighty-year-old - and when we get some pics of the cake we'll post them. Congratulations!
By all accounts, next Saturday's Hash Femmes outing is fully organised. As GM, Payback took the opportunity to remind those going that they are representing Samford Hash, and are expected to behave appropriately....Here's a pic by Phiz of a couple of frocked-up ladies enjoying a teapot-full of gin:
