Grounded - and up in the air

At time of writing, Brisbane residents were just about to be grounded in a 3-day lockdown, which - provided it's not extended - will end on Friday. At this stage we're still hopeful that we'll be able to meet as a group of 30 next Sunday....But who knows - keep checking your emails!

This last Sunday's trail took us on an easy jaunt around the back blocks of the village. We were joined by two visitors who have done a lot of their hash running in Lusaka, Zambia - namely Sister Sludge and Titus (he assures us that this is how his name is spelt; she says it's an appropriate name, no matter how it's spelt.) They had to leave before the circle, but it was great to meet them and we look forward to seeing them again.

Here are some friends that Mile High and Hugandkiss made on the trail:

And here are a few of Snappy's candid shots of hashers back home at John Scott Park:

Haughty was literally grounded when he turned his ankle and measured his length along the bitumen, springing leaks from various parts of his anatomy. It's lucky he doesn't run very fast, or he really could have caused some damage. Here's a reminder of the sorts of things that happen to hashers - a picture from 2014:

And you'll find links to whole galleries of more gruesome shots here!
