Big views and little suckers

The 25 of us who made it to Deep Water Bend (after a big night in Samford) enjoyed some beautiful views as the sun set over the water.

We also enjoyed some memorable encounters with the local wildlife, both large and small.

There would have been at least 100 hashing kangaroos on the trail; and at least 100 000 hashing mosquitoes who gathered to feast as we did (thanks to Topless for the photos.)

Thanks, hares, for an extremely scenic run/walk and a very tasty meal!

Nipliquor was sporting his new shaven head, having reached his "Shave for a cure" target. Well done, young man!

And here are some hashers who made a great effort at the Samford Charity Night on Saturday - they put the rest of us to shame! Zorro and Storm (aka Le W*nk and Lax) are going to be dinner guests of green-haired MP Nikki Boyd at Parliament House. She doesn't know what she's let herself in for....

Finally - it's good to know that Superhacker is back in town this week. Welcome home!

Next run details
When: Sunday 25th March, 4:30 pm (we'll move to a 4 pm start on 8th April)

Hares: Culture and Haughty

Note: it may be an idea to bring some mossie spray again this week.

On, on!
