Doing our block

It's a while since we did the local rounds and for some of those who tackled the M. Promptu runners' route up the hill behind BP Park and around to Bygott's Road (I mean Gastrick, Tinkerbell and Hook) this was new territory. The walkers took on the local circuit via the Avenue of Honour - a route that Mile High, Hugandkiss and Mollie had completed earlier in the day in the Million Paws walk.

Topless catered for the ravenous hordes, serving up some scrumptious pea and ham soup, with sausages and pavs to follow; others brought along some offerings to share as well. Many thanks - a delicious meal!

No pics from the run this week, but (courtesy of Charcoal) here are a few shots from the Samford production of "Blithe Spirit" which Culture, Hugandkiss, Mile High, Mollie and Haughty have all been working on - while Redbreast, Jamesbondage, Cash Converta and Payback looked after FOH.

Gastrick has been recce-ing some new routes around Bardon and Mt. Coot-tha. He's found some flat bits around the area, which of course he is going to avoid in setting next week's run/walk.
