"Here we go loop de loop..."*

Our hares treated us to a triple-looped trefoil run/walk this Sunday, with the final loop featuring a very pretty waterside circuit. This was all very new territory to us, providing some great exploratory opportunities from the checks. Pity there weren't more hills, though....

Winter is closing in, and a couple of braziers were very welcome at the on, on - as was a somewhat Mexican shepherd's pie. Another one for the 2010 cookbook!

It was good to welcome Charcoal and Strine back from their expedition to the subcontinent.

The 1K (1000th) run is getting close now, and excitement is mounting. It should be a great night - and some hashers are planning to extend it by camping for the long weekend at Charcoal and Strine's (this was news to them).

Run 998 next Sunday will be a hareless run/walk from the village, and Run 999 a housewarming one from Hardcore's new mansion! Her new canine should also be arriving that week - Jack, Darcy, Jessie and Heimie, take note....
