Vive la France!

[This week's run report once again comes to you courtesy of Payback - thanks to him!]

The Hash Francophiles were out in force last Sunday. Some went to a lot of trouble in dressing up for Bastille Day, but the berets and scarves proved useful in the rather blustery weather.

Here's Saucy Sous' pic of the group, which might have been captured on one of the boulevards of Paris:

Haughty was playing elsewhere, so the ailing runners took it easy without the pressure of keeping up with him. The trail was a bit longer than usual, but this increased appetites for the food extravaganza provided by Saucy Sous and Dumbell.  The French-themed home-made food included ham and cheese croissants, mini quiches, pissaladiere, chicken drumsticks in sauce, creamy pasta, salad and to top it off - mouth watering apple fritters and profiteroles.  After all that, we needed a workout in Dumbell's gym.

You might be aware that Superhacker (Sophie) will grace us with her presence this October. To celebrate, Miss Demeanour plans to have a Femmes get together at Maroochydore on the last weekend of October. If you are interested, please have a chat to her or advise via the Hash email address.

The SPADEwerx production of Cosi opens next weekend:

As some are attending the performance at 5 pm, next Sunday's venue will be John Scott Park, and those who are not playgoing will proceed to the pub.

And now here are some of Snappy's shots from last Sunday:
