Gentrification and celebration

April is clearly a popular month for weddings, and this last Sunday we raised a glass of champers to no fewer than 3 couples celebrating their anniversaries. One couple had made it to the big four-oh - even if one-half of the pair had to be represented by a forty-year old photo:

Congratulations to Budgie and Miss Behavin', Upstanding and Idle Vice, and Payback and Cash Converta for demonstrating so much fortitude and perseverance, and - dare we say it? - lerv.

Lax and Le W*nk took us on a ramble around the gentrifying suburb of Mitchelton - Millionaires' Mitchelton. There was a lot of new and renovated real estate to gawp at on both the walk and the run. Back at the hares' place we feasted on a varied and tasty selection of dishes that catered to every gastronomic need. Many thanks, hares!

Now for a few pictures from elsewhere. Firstly, on their recent trip up north, Upstanding and Idle Vice caught up with Shaggy and Cadbury. They are looking very relaxed and happy now they have got away from us:

And our hash travelers on their extended camping trip have been taking in the sights at a balloon festival in Canowindra:

Finally, here's the latest news from Superhacker:

"All is well here in Merry England. Spring is on its way. We are having classic April Showers. Bflat and Malpractice are off to Glasgow this weekend. [Hopalong] is still working in the nursery (childcare) studying education and riding her lease horse. She also socializes with the Young Farmers every week. I am going to Italy for 10 days cycling with a few of my Australian friends in May, then going to a residential course in Cambridge again in July. In between we are going to the Lake District for a bit of sailing - we are camping and Teddy is coming too."
