There was a bit of rain around the traps on Sunday, but fortunately none of it fell into the Dayboro traps. So though it looked as though Banger's trail might be the fourth in a row to be washed out, his chalk and flour markings around the Fingerboard Road (odd name, that) and Showgrounds circuit were still quite clear. And that's also despite the heavy Sunday afternoon traffic in the bustling metropolis....
It's that time of year when we're overwhelmed with an unremitting series of social and other events and our numbers always suffer a bit. Even our hares had forgotten that they were double-booked on Sunday, but fortunately they chose us over our social rivals! We were also joined by Dayboro locals Tightass and his pal Echo - good to see you!
Many, many thanks to our hares for a very pleasant walk and run in very pleasant weather conditions. And many thanks for the excellent curry as well!
