Happy birthdays...

Three birthdays to celebrate this week!

Firstly, Tatty and Squelch welcomed a brother for Dynamite and Hot Stuff, just before Sunday's hash. Congratulations to mum, dad, brothers and grandparents!

Secondly, we raised our voices in song at the hash to mark Superhacker's birthday. We do hope that in her next year she gets to spend more time out and about than she did in this last one! She used her fingers to extinguish the candles on her cake in a totally Covid-safe way:

Thirdly, Escargot's mum Ivy - who has joined us on a number of hashes in the past - recently commemorated her 90th birthday in the UK. Congratulations to her!

Our hospitable hares had set us an interesting run and walk past some really classy real estate and along the banks of Enoggera Creek. Points of interest along the way were provided by the properties of some rather eccentric neighbours....And a sumptuous feast followed. Many thanks to Upstanding and Idle Vice!

The Dump Mistress from Mt Nebo had rescued some genuine anthropological artefacts from the tip and presented these to SPADEwerx for use in a future production. Our hares modeled them with a great deal of flair:

A number of hashers are away in their caravans on a gentle SE Queensland odyssey. Here are a few shots from the travelers, featuring:

The Mary Valley Rattler - from outside and inside:

Some hash fossickers:

And a stand of Hibiscus splendens:
