Full moon at Raven Street

It's been a while since we called "On, on!" along the tracks of Raven Street and Chermside Hills Reserves (it was back in June 2017) so it was good to see that the bush seems to have done OK in the interim without us. Someone else had also chalked out a trail through the area, which caused a bit of confusion at times (but not much more than usual.) Those who complained that they'd been waiting 20 minutes for a beer until the runners returned received as much sympathy as they deserved.

It was good to see Hardcore and her 2.9 offspring. Payback also dropped in via Skype, and Shockjock and Le W*nk showed him that - whatever the weather was in London - the full moon was shining bright at Downfall Creek. The sight broke the camera, so there are no pictures this week.

Many thanks to our hares for a very enjoyable run - which took us through some virgin territory - and for a great meal which included vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free alternatives!

A number of our members will be taking part in a matinee performance of the 2019 SPADEwerx pantomime next Sunday. Those who are not will be meeting for village excursion and a potluck celebration.

Next run details
When: Sunday 20th January, 5 pm
Where: John Scott Park, Samford Village

On, on!
