Seven of us took the runners' route towards the city this last Sunday, fighting against the strange magnetism of the Regatta Hotel (which was doing its best to pull us across the road from the riverside path.) The majority headed upstream towards the attraction of Queensland's premier seat of learning. There were lots of youngsters on this week's walk/run, commiserating with one another over a return to school the next day. We drove off some usurpers from our favourite spot beside the river at Guyatt Park - merely by being there and behaving normally - and then enjoyed sunset, the rising of a full moon, cottage pie and Little Creatures.
