The rain gods do it again!

The rain gods have a habit of - shall we say - making water on Leave Pass's parades, and they did it again at 9am this Sunday after he had finished setting the run at 8. But he must be starting to crawl back into their favour: this time only some of the markings were only partially washed out.

Some were quite clear, like this arrow:

And like this pile of flour:

(Good grief - what am I doing? Posting pictures of piles of flour? Note to self: Get a Life!)

It's certainly interesting to return periodically to Upper Kedron and note the ongoing developments. It was also interesting to note the vertical distance between the floor slabs of some of the new houses and the level the creek reached a couple of weeks ago. What will happen when the green hills are covered with roofs and roads, all discharging stormwater?

We followed up this food for thought with some food for the body in the form of some nicely roganed joshes. Many thanks, Leave Pass!

Eweshggr returned bearing scars from a battle with - well, his story is that it was with the corner of a bed, and he's sticking with it:

Get well soon, bro.

We have a Potluck run coming up this Sunday.

Next run details
When: Sunday 24th May, 4 pm
Where: H.T.Ireland Reserve, Eaton's Hill. A map!
Hares: Payback will set the run; Potluck will cater (please bring something to share)

On, on!
