Wetshod

There were no official creek crossings on this Sunday's run, but no-one make it home dry-shod. Heavy rain on Friday had turned some sections of trail into temporary streams - but as Gastrick pointed out, conditions were nothing like what one might expect on an English hash run. Culture and Haughty experienced a pretty muddy example of these a couple of years ago.

We celebrated Mayday once again with a fair imitation of the Red Army Choir, making the Samford Valley ring with the stirring strains of "The Red Flag."

Next week those who have not been summonsed to the parental nest will mark Mothers' Day with the presentation of our annual Mother Superior award. Click here for a reminder of last year's event.
