A bit of an...

informal run/walk this Sunday. No hare, so the walkers set off in one direction to explore the mud puddles along the South Pine River, while the runners headed off in another and for a while didn't know where they were....They ended up crashing through the jungle in an attempt to find and follow the river home. It was a bit like Borneo - where we were this time last year....

There were a few reminiscences from Borneo at the on, on as well - memories of eating deep-fried prawn heads and fresh green fern fronds...and of course of the fittings and towel supplies at the Culture Inn. As usual with a pot luck affair, the nosh was ample and scrumptious.

We sang Happy Birthday to a visitor turning 21 - in half a year or so Samford Hash will be turning 21 as well!

A little story:

A bloke is sitting in the pub crying into his beer.

"What's up, mate?" asks his friend.

"My wife is cheating on me!"

"How do you know?"

"She didn't come home last night, and when she arrived this morning she said she'd spent the night with her sister."

"How do you know that wasn't true?"

"Because I spent last night with her sister!"
