A Sunday afternoon visit to Sandgate has long been a Brisbane tradition:
And we joined the crowds keeping the tradition alive as we met near where the above photo was taken, and joined the crowds for a traditional stroll along the promenade. The sea breeze was fresh and invigorating, the rain held off, and as darkness fell we were treated to some great views of the moon over the water (thanks to Floater and Snappy for the pics):
What a great meal our hares Make an Offer and Banger put on! Really generous servings of ham (with traditional English mustard), a wonderful selection of no less than four salads, and home-made brownies to follow! Many, many thanks to them!
