Home from the hill

We welcomed some travelers home from NSW this Sunday, and another from further afield. Of course the little hillocks around Banff can't compare with the steep slopes of Eildon Hill, but Chinwag probably didn't notice much difference in the temperature of the two places: they were both chilly. Welcome back!

The stairs to the reservoir hadn't got any less challenging since our last ascent in 2021, and Saucy Sous (thanks to her!) was the only summiteer who wasn't too breathless to take photos. A challenge: try picking out the two 2021 ring-ins:

Back at the hares' place, and well wrapped up, we enjoyed a traditional snag and salad feast, with some warming frozen yoghurt to follow. Many thanks to our hares! And here are a few pics from Snappy and Cash Converta (thanks!):

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world, Floater and Scratchit have made their way to Scotland. What a trip they are having!
