Shepherds' delight

As well as setting a trail that everyone - runners and walkers alike - thoroughly enjoyed, and producing a magnificent meal that was also enthusiastically received, our hares this week laid on a spectacular sunset. There's a huge number of pics to choose from, taken at various stages as the light changed. Here are just a few of them, from multiple cameras!

The trail was not a short one - partly, Jamesbondage admitted, because he got a bit lost in setting it - but it was varied, and full of botanical interest and spectacle. And we helped ourselves to multiple servings of Redbreast's extremely tasty and filling and nutritious stew! Many thanks to our hares!

The evening was marked by a traditional naming ceremony for someone who has been coming along for a while. Congratulations to Honkers!

Here are some of Snappy's pictures from the occasion:

Elsewhere, Strine waved the flag for Samford Hash, wearing her purple Silver Jubilee shirt as she recuperated in the RBWH:

And Floater and Scratchit caught up with the St. Ives (Cambridge) chapter of Samford Hash, meeting up with B Flat, Malpractice, and Superhacker. It looks like a lovely sunny afternoon in the UK. And the glasses, bottles and cans don't look bad either:

Next week we'll be hosted by a virgin hare, Big Donk.
