Wise words from a wise man (sorry, person)

This week's post was once again penned by the eloquent Payback:

"Civilisation has caught with the Parksedge Street area, what with a new shopping centre, more housing, new roundabouts and even a two lane bridge across Cedar Creek.

We did the usual trail towards the Bellbird Grove carpark. It was a bit muddy in places, which will result in lots of shoe cleaning in the next few days. Dumbbell decided to do some mud wrestling – not sure if this was part of his exercise regime.

The runners headed toward the old gold mines and as usual were amazed by the amount of work the miners had accomplished with little reward.  As Mahatma Gandhi once said “Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment; full effort is full victory.”

Back at the on, on we were expecting Leave Pass’s famous pizza or Mr Woolworth's lasagne, but he surprised us with some tasty alternatives.

A big welcome to Spanish hasher – Streaky."
