Busy, busy, busy

Holiday reservations, home renovations and theatrical creations all played a role in limiting the number of hashers who were available to meet this last Sunday. The latter was particularly significant, as quite a few were tied up with SPADEwerx performances of "Three Tales and a Dog". Once again the run report this week has been compiled from notes by Payback, and you should blame him for any inaccuracies!

After meeting at the familiar spot in Upper Kedron both runners and walkers set off for Bellbird Grove. According to Payback, the walkers "strolled" just as far as the carpark, while the runners completed both the hilly circuit and the Gold Mine one. One day they will surely stumble across a nugget. The group was joined by a visitor from Seattle, who is getting a taste of Australia with a view to seattling here....His name, he announced, is Queen - which is short for something that Payback is too shy to repeat.

Back at the Upper Kedron playground, the group enjoyed a feast of gourmet pizza and salad courtesy of hare Leave Pass. Many thanks to him, and to our substitute beermeisters and winos!

Here are a few shots of the event taken by Snappy, Cash Converta and Saucy Sous. Once again, the jacaranda pic is included especially for Superhacker:

A sad event this last week was the demise of Bigtop's beloved dog, Alex. Here he is during happier times - RIP, old fella:

Finally, if you haven't yet entered the Red Dress Run into your diaries, do so now - November 28th:
