Reno run

Almost 40 of us (including long-lost nomads Dollybird and Slasher) turned up to admire our hares' renovations on Sunday. The interior of their place had been transformed by a company called Finer Finishers, while the renovated front yard and boat shed were also looking very shmick.

It was a pleasant afternoon for a creekside excursion in the upper Kedron catchment, and the trail took in a renovated section of walkway as well - where we once had to scramble up a pile of boulders there's now a 4-lane bridge! However several pairs of eyes among the runners were not enough to prevent them losing their way after a very short distance. They took a 2 km bushland diversion before discovering the route again, but found themselves running it in reverse. A backward bunch, it seems....

Here are shots of some of those who enjoyed some really tasty curry and some good company on their return. Our hares Shaggy and Cadbury had had a really full-on weekend, sizzling sausages at Bunnings, and assisting at two SPADEwerx performances, as well as setting and hosting the run. Many, many thanks to them - what troupers they are!

And on trail - a sunset, some walkers, and some flying pigs....
