Dayboro dawdle

Twenty-five of us braved wintry conditions to do the rounds of Dayboro before rounding up at the hares' hilltop manor. We took a scenic route along a really well-marked trail (several sticks of blue chalk must have been harmed in setting it) and darkness was already starting to fall as the first of the runners came in:

Vast vats of cottage pie were consumed by the ravenous hordes who gathered around the patio heater in their beanies and puffer jackets. A second course followed in the form of an even vaster bowl of rice pudding. Ideal winter fare! Many, many thanks, hares!

Various wimps will be fleeing the winter in the next week - and we bade bon voyage to Budgie, Miss Behavin', Leave Pass and Eweshggr who are all heading northwards. (Perversely, Floater and Scratchit are bound for Tasmania.) Have a good time, all.

There's a new SPADEwerx Community Theatre production coming off in a couple of weeks, and as usual, a few hashers will be treading the boards, assisting backstage - and acting as sponsors. We hope to see the rest in the audience!

Next run details
