The stay-at-homes took on some really new tracks - only just opened - within the Lake Samsonvale surrounds. The walkers avoided the hardest bits of the trail by simply ignoring trail markings and going straight ahead where they should have turned left. It was then of course too late to do anything other than return along some rather easy gradients. Gentlemanly Tinkerbell had set off in search of them and unsurprisingly found so sign of them along the tough sections.
Some beaut curry with Indian breads and sambals (plus apple and blueberry crumble!) followed at the hares' hilltop manor. Many thanks, hares!
