As usual, Topless laid on a wonderful German banquet to follow a waterside wander from Woody Point. It was a lovely afternoon, and the sunset across the water was really memorable.
The walkers were in position to witness a memorable marriage proposal as well...on a large sign held up for a young lady as she came to earth beneath a parachute. "Aimee - marry me!" it read. Her innamorato was there on one knee with the ring as she landed. How could she refuse? And what will they do for the wedding?
We held another naming ceremony for someone who has been walking with us for a while, but who usually has to head off to Toowoomba immediately after the run. So welcome to Kermit - it's not easy being green!
Oh, and although the kids didn't pack up and go home when it got dark (as we'd expected), Culture did eventually get a turn on the flying fox at the park. You'll be glad to know that she waited her turn in the queue, and didn't push any little kids off....
