This week's excursion from Upper Kedron took us though the newly-renovated Bellbird Grove picnic area...where we could admire lots of new bitumen, new speedbumps - and newly-laid flour. The renovated dam we passed was prettily responding to recent rain (thanks to Superhacker for the pic):
Back at the Upper Kedron playground. Leave Pass showed off his culinary skills once more, regaling us with a beaut curry. Many thanks!
Shaggy and Cadbury are on holiday, which might help explain why they'd turned up for a Hash walk the day before! In fact, they'd spent all of Saturday thinking it was Sunday - for example, being puzzled that the Ferny Grove markets weren't on! A down, down seemed the best way to help reset their body clocks:
And we obviously had to have another down, down for our newly-engaged couple:
They'd first shown off a very stylish engagement ring at the Wednesday hash last week:
Congratulations to them both! This sort of thing couldn't happen to nicer people.
Finally, a reminder that the SPADEwerx production of "Charley's Aunt" - featuring hashers and Hash hangers-on in various roles - is coming off in less than three weeks. One performance is already sold out, so don't delay in making a booking!
