Gold! Gold! Gold!

There was plenty of gold on this Sunday's run and walk, but this is what it looked like:

Senna pendula was several billion times more common in the area than golden nuggets, and we marveled at the amount of effort that had gone into digging holes in the ground along the Golden Boulder circuit to prove that fact.

(Senna pendula was also, incidentally, several billion times more common than trail markings.)

Floater, who has a bit of a reputation as a botanical artist, paused here and there to make a record of the local flora, taking pictures of several varieties of lantana as well as of the Easter cassia. All very pretty....

Back at the Upper Kedron Park we enjoyed Leave Pass's healthy offerings of chicken and veges - many thanks!

We celebrated Miss Demeanour's significant birthday in the usual way:

And we held a naming ceremony for Boxer's long-time partner...who somehow or other never got round to being named during all her time in Malaysia. It's been great having them come along to our last several meets. So, welcome to Saucy - we hope to see you hashing with us for a long time to come!
