Disturbed ducks

Last Sunday a large contingent of Samford Hashers descended on a pleasant lake side setting in the Boondall Entertainment Centre complex. The ducks weren’t too happy, especially when George, thinking they were sheep, started to round them up. Perhaps Le Wank should take him to Specsavers.

George looking for aquatic sheep:

Our  keeper of ancient legends and local history, Shockjock, led the runners to a little known ancient site. It turned out to be the starting gate for the Brisbane Commonwealth Games BMX track. The runners were gob smacked.

The run proved not long enough for Hardcore who decided to jog home afterwards. She forgot one thing though – her children. Hopefully they made it home safely.

Shockjock and Miss Demeanour provided a sumptuous meal for all palates. It did start to rain during the feeding frenzy which at first did not deter the ravenous bunch. However, when the wind picked up and branches started to fall, stomachs were forgotten and there was a mad dash for the vehicles. Many thanks, hares!
