Cadbury and Shaggy's First Time

Our Easter Egg run this year was hosted by virgin hares and good eggs Cadbury and Shaggy - and what an exceedingly* great job they made of it! They set a well-marked trail (using some innovative blue flour for the runners) and included a traditional exhausting* Samford hill or two as well. This was followed by a couple of excellent* curries, with hot cross buns and Easter eggs (of course) to follow. The kids enjoyed hunting the eggs almost as much as the adults enjoyed hiding them. Many thanks to Shaggy and Cadbury (and to Mile High and Hugandkiss for donations of eggs and buns.)

(*Notice how I've managed to avoid the "egg" puns.)

It was good to welcome a visitor from Cape Town, another from Osaka, and yet another from as far away as Toowong. It was also great to see Oishi and the young 'uns at the hash again (they'll be with us for a couple of months this year - and she is planning to do some serious running this time.)

Some of the group (no-one got lost!)

And our virgin hares (but experienced* curry chefs)
