Gyre and gimble

"Feels like we're going round in circles," one of the runners commented on Sunday.

And of course we were - but isn't that what Hash running is all about? Getting from A to A?

Our circling took over 30 runners and walkers on a varied trail which incorporated both bush and burbs - and just as many declines as inclines (though it might not have felt that way.) The runners' route even included a visit to the site of the historic Le W*nk mansion. There's not much to see there now. The shady verandahs...the swimming pool...the giant TV screen...the parking for 5 cars...the chook pen...all gone, gone forever! Makes you think, eh?

It was good to welcome baby Eloise to her second Hash outing (she slept through the whole thing again.)

In honour of St. Paddy's Day, our two Notre Dame alumni In Your Dreams and Haughty attempted a rendition of the "Fighting Irish" Fight Song. It should have sounded a bit more like this:

And Le W*nk and Amazing - gluttons for punishment - are doing it again this coming Sunday! Wonder what'll be for dinner?
