Champagne and pearls

30 years on, and it was champagne all round to celebrate our hares' Pearl Wedding Anniversary. Good on them for sharing the occasion with the bunch of reprobates called Samford Hash! Talk about pearls before swine....

According to the ABS, the predicted length of marriages made in the early 80s is 32 years. Just 2 years to go, and they'll be beating the odds!  (But - as we say in Hash - it's not a race, guys....)

Cutting the cake:

Studying the wedding album:

And some 30 year old views (don't they look young and innocent?):

The run/walk this week took us through bush and burbs in Clear Mountain and Cashmere.  Not too many hills (but enough to keep us in practice) - and for once it wasn't raining!  We welcomed a German visitor, and hope to see her again.

Mile High and Hugandkiss are hosting their second run this coming Sunday - and hills are a distinct possibility.

Next run details
When: Sunday 21st April, 4 pm
Where: Mile High and Hugandkiss' mountainside mansion in Samford Valley
