M. Promptu circuit

Some of the walkers took a more impromptu route than others, finding themselves in unexpected places after shortcutting the agreed route. It was a dampish, coolish day, but Potluck warmed us up with the usual varied feast.

Those who enjoy Theakston's Old Peculier agreed that Shockjock's version was just as good, if not better. A pity that Theakston expert Leave Pass wasn't there to give his opinion.

Congratulations this week to Floater for winning a silver medal in the Hills District Garden Competition!

A number of our members are away....Jamesbondage and Redbreast did a Hash walk around The Nut:

And our WA travelers Charcoal, Strine and Eweshggr, have been having a tremendous time photographing wildflowers (lots), stromatolites, reptiles, birds and scenery. A wrecked tailshaft on the VW entailed a tow of well over 200km, but at least the car came back washed and polished. They are now traveling back down south along the coast having visited Shark Bay, Mullewa and the Hutt River Principality - where they had an audience with Prince Leonard (pictured below). The VW also paid another visit to Geraldton. You'll find lots more great pictures here.
