Roamin' in the gloamin'

Once again Superhacker and Hopalong took us roamin' in the gloamin' along the bonnie banks of the Brisbane River, as we skirted the grounds of the St. Lucia campus. The sun set prettily over the water.

Rumour has it that the runners were traveling so fast that they lost the trail...but the aroma of malt and hops led them home to join the gathering throng.

Some very tasty tucker was completely cleaned up by the hordes - shown here fighting for their shares. Many thanks to our hares!

Why are these gymnasts not competing in Rio?

And finally - here's a little story from Mile High, who responded to some advice from his psychologist:
Dr. Neil proclaimed that the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.  So I looked around my house to see things I started and hadn't finished; and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Pinot Noir, a bottle of Chardonnay, a mixed 6-pack of beers I started tasting last week, a bottle of Kahlua, a packet of Sesame snacks, the remainder of bottle of Imodium, old Morphine prescriptions, last night’s gin and tonic, the rest of the Cheesecake, and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how good I feel.
And, by the way, he wasn't at Hash....
