Liberty, equality, fraternity!

Samford Hash has always stood for Liberty (No rules!), Equality (No petty despots!) and Fraternity (All dogs and women are our brothers!), so we came out in strength to celebrate the Shggrs' Bastille Day run. There were striped jumpers, berets, and strings of onions aplenty, plus one naughty French maid trying hard to look like Payback. Leave Pass came as a French letter and Jamesbondage wore a string of them (left over from Kuching) around his neck.

It was a devious and appropriately cunning run, with lots of opportunities to run away and to retreat from the many check-backs. The meal featured frogs' legs and horse stew - yum! We sang the Marseillaise to the well-known words "The Frenchman went to the...." And we followed it all up with some spiritous liquors and a Kuching slide show at the hares' hideyhole. (We'll get that Kuching photo album up online ASAP.)

In the meantime, here's a shot of a couple of our younger members attired in Kuching memorabilia:

Next week will feature a gentle stroll through some of the flattest bits of Samford.
