It was a big weekend of hashing in different parts of the world for members of Samford Hash. For the 10-strong Borneo contingent there was a range of runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the countryside and jungle surrounding Kuching - look for lots of images in future posts! 6 of that group then went on to Mulu and walked 3 km in a tropical downpour to visit the world's largest cave chamber...and then 3 km back (the rain hadn't stopped). Again - lots of images to follow!
Meanwhile at home Bladerunner and Bendit laid on a hilly run through the back of Keperra, and followed it up with a meal that certainly lived up to their usual high standard.
Remember the Shggrs' Bastille Day run on Sunday 18th July. French revolutionary costumes are called for - although we wouldn't mind seeing some naughty French maids on the run either....
Next run details
When: Sunday 11th July, 4 pm
Where: Corner Buranda and Clear Mountain Roads, Clear Mountain
Hares: Charcoal and Strine
(Apologies from most of the offshore contingent - they'll still be OS)

Red dress run in Kuching
The 10 strong Samford Hash contingent all participated in the Red Dress run - the first of the Interhash runs - today. The heavens opened at the start and we run in a real tropical downpour (it was a great relief from the heat).
Yesterday Big Top had a very close encounter with a huge male orangutan! People scattered to both sides as he advanced on the crowd at the feeding station and she was left trapped against a rope and frozen to the spot! Pics to follow....
