There are plenty of hills in Bunya, and our hares picked some doozies for our route on Sunday. Some walkers had been forewarned and brought their walking poles, while the others (we presume) just hung onto one another. Certainly it was cooler among the trees than it would have been in the full sun, but conditions were dry, dry, dry....Certainly a good reason to thoroughly quench our thirst afterwards.
Here are some of Saucy Sous' images from the walk:
Runners - walking?
Back home, after quenching that thirst, we enjoyed some vast vats of pasta cooked using gratis council electricity from the James Drysdale Reserve shelter (gratis? well, not if you consider the rates we pay). Many thanks to our hares for a well-marked trail and a great meal!
