Keep off the grass

Luckily we'd all brought our hoverboards, so we were able to obey Le W*nk's instructions to not walk on the new lawn.

The spa is in place, the patio is clad in marble, the turf has been laid....Lax and Le W*nk's major renovation is just about finished, and those who can remember the place from a couple of years ago can appreciate just how major it was. All they are waiting for now is the Better Homes and Gardens journalists.

They took us on a scenic route through the surrounding streets and the patches of park and bushland that surprisingly survive among those streets. Trail markings were plentiful, if sometimes a tad confusing, and no-one got truly lost. Was it true that the run was shorter than the walk? Anyway, we all made it back (28 of us, Cash Converta counted) to sit on the grass and enjoy a meal of pasta and stew and crumble. Many thanks to our hares!
