"O horrible, o horrible, most horrible!"

Yet another year has rolled round, and we once more took off our masks and makeup to reveal our real selves. What a good looking group gathered at Budgie and Miss Behavin's this time round!

Strictly speaking, it was the day after Halloween (except in places like Hawaii), but some of the locals had gone completely overboard and weren't letting their decorations go to waste. Our route took us past this amazing animated display:

 

 

It'll be good to see what these people do for Christmas.... The walkers circled the lakes, and then took off for a scenic homeward stroll along the North Pine. The runners added another little excursion out and back along the river on a trail whose markings had survived all that the clouds could throw at them....

Back home at the hares' place we feasted on blood and brains - only joking, on a wonderful selection of tasty fare for carnivores and vegetarians alike! Many thanks to Budgie, Miss Behavin' and Nipper!

This week saw a couple of hashers knock off some long-term goals. Floater completed her major expedition along the Bibbulum Track in WA - 1000 km in 53 days! An amazing solo trip - well done, Floater!

 

 

And B&W completed the Noosa Tri in a sliver over 2 hours, which works out as 0.0015723 of 53 days. Does that mean anything?
