The bride of 40 years back starred in the kitchen:
Everyone was eager to see how Le W*nk would wriggle out of his rash wager that she would not be able to fit into the dress she got married in. He wrote and starred in a 3 act drama in an attempt to delay the inevitable...
The stern bank manager eventually authorized the loan...
and, at last, the debt was paid:
Miss Demeanour presented the Ruby Wedding couple with a chance to suffer heart attacks at Dreamworld:
The firepit provided warmth, but it's lucky we all love wood-smoke so much:
The following day, the very suave and well-turned out Jamesbondage and Redbreast laid on a classy run/walk around the Bunya back blocks and followed this up with some equally classy pasta. All in all, a really enjoyable weekend - and thanks to our hares!
Floater is competing at the Sunshine Coast marathon and running festival at the end of the month - and raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation as she does so. You're invited to support her here.
Le W*nk set a run/walk just a couple of weeks ago. But he's a glutton for punishment and we're happy to punish him...so he's doing it again this coming Sunday. Since it's a Mt Coot-tha meet you can expect a very flat run/walk, but bring your walking poles, torches, ropes, carabiners, crampons etc. just in case. Please bring a chair if you are the sort of wuss who wants to sit down.
Next run details
