The rain on Sunday's run had washed away all trail markings and turned the route into something like a stony, muddy river bed. In fact in some cases the route was a stony, muddy river bed. But the members of Samford Hash were as happy as Piglets in mud as they tackled it. Thanks to B&W and Fruti for some new insights into The Gap and an enjoyable on, on.

Looking ahead, the Interhashers from Samford Hash have been firming up their Borneo plans, and the Stanthorpe Stagger around the wineries and granite peaks is coming up in April - more details to follow....

Wet and wild....

Culture and Haughty have developed a regrettable habit of setting runs in the rain. This Sunday they continued the trend.

But the members of Samford Hash are a pretty water-resistant as well as a rowdy bunch, and 26 of us turned up to be drenched as we trekked through the wilds of Cedar Creek. Fortunately most of the trail markings survived for most of the run. But there was a lot more rain during the on, on - driving us off the deck to shiver indoors.

Cedar Creek is a pretty special place, as well as a wet one. It's not true that all its hillbilly inhabitants have 6 toes on each foot. Some have 5 (on one foot, and 7 on the other.)
