A lot of people go away over the Easter weekend, so it was eggstremely eggciting to have 25 turn up for this year's Easter Egg run!
Conditions were clear and pleasant - if a trifle muddy - for the first of our 4 pm meets. However the eggs hidden along the trail did suffer a little from the heat (30 degrees in Brisbane) and attempts to carry them home produced some pretty squishy results....
The Samford Lions donated some leftover sausages from their sizzle across the road and Kermit and Floater both donated some desserts. Thanks to them all!
A trip out to the green hills of Dayboro (hush! - there are no hills in Dayboro) is on the agenda for next week.
