It's been a while since Samford Hash pounded the pavements of the Big Smoke, so this Sunday's run/walk made for a bit of a change.
We started off muscling in on some wedding photos in the Roma Street Parklands, and then headed off over the new Kurilpa Bridge to GOMA. Back then across the river through the historic Petrie Barracks and the heritage area of Petrie Terrace - where one of the heritage houses was on fire. The runners' loop then took them up one of Brisbane's steepest streets and through the Kelvin Grove Urban Village, where we managed to invade yet more wedding photos.
Back to the bush this coming weekend...I doubt if we'll encounter many weddings.
