A number of hashers were strutting their stuff at a matinee performance of the 2019 SPADEwerx panto this last Sunday - just across the road from where the rest of the crew gathered at John Scott Park. Glutes is still with us, and Eweshggr brought along a couple of visitors from Sydney as well as Bugf*kr from the Desert Hash. And of course Payback was back from his extended trip to the Old Countries....
Due to the hot weather and general lethargy the runners let their standards slip on this one occasion and joined the walkers - and even allowed speed queen Strine to beat them home (but then, it's not a race.)
That huge animal Zoey came along to celebrate her second birthday, and Fizzer made some birthday cupcakes for the dogs to share. They looked so good that some of the human hashers had a taste....The rest of the Potluck feast was equally good.
Now for some pics:
Escargot was absent, "working" on Fraser Island with Dingo. Here's the view from her office:
Payback visited the Cambridge chapter of Samford Hash a couple of weeks ago while he was in the UK. Here he is with Malpractice, B Flat, his father, and B Flat's famous bike:
And now a few panto shots, featuring Budgie (Ma J), Cadbury and Culture (Buttercup the cow), Mile High (Captain Thunderbox), Mollie (the Savage Beast), Chinwag (Harper), Hugandkiss (Nelly Kelly), Miss Behavin' (Gumnut Blossom), Haughty (Bunyip), Shaggy (Lord Goliath the mining giant) and Superhacker (Professor Deepshaft).
It's our Ozday run this coming Sunday, so it's time to don those blue singlets and to show off those bum cracks....
