On the waterfront

A bright clear autumn day saw 30 or so Samford Hashers and their dogs turn out on the shores of Lake Samsonvale. It was a little surprising that none of our biped members went in for a swim - I'm not sure about the canine ones.  The trail was relaxed and uncomplicated, with just a couple of checks for the joint group and an extra one for the runners.  Then the sun went down over the water and - gosh - it got really, really dark.

They talk about herding cats - that's nothing compared to trying to get 5 hash hounds to line up for a group photo!

There was a suggestion that one of the doggy Georges should receive the Hash name "Roger".  (The picture that would explain this has been suppressed....)
