Payback took his cue from Paul Simon this Sunday, offering to act as a human bridge at one of the creek crossings. What a gentleman! We missed out on what could have developed into a pretty funny situation when someone found a log to span the gap....
It was a perfect autumn day, and the steepest bit of the run/walk was probably the hares' driveway. They'd set a relaxing varied circuit along suburban streets and the verges of the South Pine River. This was followed up by some classy nosh - sesame chicken - and dessert! Thanks, guys!
It was good to welcome a couple of hashers who have only been in Brisbane for a week or two - Where's the Beef and In Your Dreams. They hail from Tokyo (by way of Perth) and hence continue our Japanese connection. We hope to see them again!
This weekend also saw members of Samford Hash taking part in a range of other activities - Mountain Biking, Abseiling, Canoeing, and Kneeing People in the Groin (aka Self Defense for Women.) Here's our fearless Grand Master going over the edge at the Glasshouse Mountains:
