[This week's run report once more comes to you courtesy of Payback - thanks to him!]
It was a rather gloomy Sunday, but thankfully the rain held off for the Samford Hashers to commence their activities from Jolly's Lookout. We ventured into the D'aguilar National Park with the runners heading toward Boombana and the walkers doing the loop. The tracks were a bit muddy, but luckily no one came across any blood sucking leeches.
Afterwards, we headed off to Snappy's den where we were greeted by a cacophony of cicadas. After the din subsided, Snappy presented us with a feast of dishes which the hashers quickly devoured. Entertainment was provided by Andrew and Mario who set up a rather professional looking karaoke machine with all the accessories. After a few renditions from the boys, Trudi Fruti, Miss Demeanour and Idle Vice (now known as the Samford Hashettes) decided to sing an old favourite - Georgy Girl. This went down very with the audience who danced along to the good vibes. What great talent and what a great afternoon!
