One of our previous Potluck meals was heavily biased towards quiches, and another comprised mainly salads. This Sunday, however, Potluck provided a carnivore's feast and a vegetarian's nightmare - chicken curry, roast chicken, BBQ chicken, meat pies, sausage rolls...meat, meat, meat! All good, though.
The M. Promptu run reproduced the last circuit we completed from this venue, and many of the walkers took on the same route as they did last time. Others picked their own paths, and for LFC the Hash run was just part of his circuit - he added it to a run from Ferny Grove station and back. (Show off!)
We've been naming a few newbies recently, and this occasion was one for bestowing a moniker on Oy-ishi - just as she's about to return to Japan. She'll be back, however, and in the meantime she can check out how they do things at the Osaka and Kobe Hashes.
Shockjock was comforted by his daughters after a 2 year old described him as a "scary man":
For those who are not camping it up this Easter weekend, Gastrick has organised a Hash function at a certain German hostelry on Friday evening. It'll be your absolutely last chance to see In Your Dreams and Where's the Beef? for a while. And here's a little something to help you prepare (thanks to Charcoal and Strine for the educational link.)
Finally - the evenings are starting to draw in and the time has come for us to move to a 4 pm start time. We'll do this from the first run after Easter - that is, on Sunday the 3rd of April. Mark your diaries, folks!
